Richard is an international development and child protection specialist with over 15 years of experience at the national, regional and global level.

Richard has successively held the positions of Programme Manager for Francophone Africa, Programme Manager for Africa, Senior Project Coordinator, Senior Programme Manager and his now serving in the position of Director of Programmes and member of the Management Board with Child Helpline International. Before joining Child Helpline International, Richard worked with the Cameroon Education For All Network, Defence for Children International Cameroon Section, National CSOs Coalition for the Right of the Children in Cameroon and with the Government in Cameroon at the Ministry of Basic Education and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education.

Over the past 8 years, Richard has been involved in the setting up and scaling up of child helplines all over the world including in Angola, Benin, Bangladesh, Honduras, Jamaica, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Cameroon, Mexico, Lesotho, etc. and number of projects to improve child helplines’ operations in Eastern and Southern Africa as well.
