To mark this year’s World Children’s Day, we have prepared a factsheet based on data from our publication Voices of Children & Young People Around the World: Global Child Helpline Data from 2021.
Concerns about family relationships are a large reason why children and young people reach out to child helplines, with around one in ten contacts being about this particular subject. Relationships with their parents (or other caregivers) is especially important for children and young people, wherever they are in the world.
We have extrapolated information from our annual data analysis focusing on contacts with child helplines relating to concerns about family relationships.
This one-page factsheet is designed for on-screen presentation, or it can be printed and displayed as an educational poster.
