Portuguese-speaking Proofreaders

We are looking for 2–3 volunteers to support in proofreading our Training of Trainers (ToT) Manual on Technology-Facilitated Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (TF-CSEA) and the accompanying PowerPoint Presentation (training slides).

The training manual is 167 pages (Word version), thus the total material is approximately 250 pages. Proofreading should be done in Portuguese following the standards of the Old Portuguese Orthography Convention, not the new orthographic agreement. The translated training manual and materials will be used in Mozambique.

Please note: This is a proofreading task, not a translation. The materials have already been translated into Portuguese and need to be reviewed for grammar, clarity, consistency and adherence to the Old Portuguese Orthography Convention.

If you’re fluent in Portuguese and have a keen eye for detail, we would greatly appreciate your support!

  • This is a fully remote opportunity.
  • Deadline to express interest: 03 October 2025
  • Start: As soon as possible
  • Completion target: End of November 2025

As a volunteer, you’ll benefit from a valuable learning opportunity and be part of a collaborative process with feedback loops designed to help you grow and contribute meaningfully.

  • Your name.
  • A brief statement of interest (3–5 sentences).

You will hear from us shortly after the deadline.
